While it's a huge bummer, I believe you can fool the ps3 to contact a local server to ask for time, which should be an easy fix for this issue, especially if it's really just time it asks for and is looking to contact a simple ntp server. If it's some custom message it wants, i'm sure, somebody will hack together a server software for it.

I'm pretty sure the PS4 controller doesn't have pressure sensitive buttons. That's not great.

It possibly had something to do with the fact that microsoft itself has no issues with legal emulation, but its the coming to terms with the creators of these emulators that may have just not worked out? I do not see any reason why emulation has to be removed from xbox, it is complete dogshit to be honest.

Sorry but I refuse to support this release. Silent Hill ended with 4 and anything after that was not up to the mark. PT was the last chance but Konami screwed it all up. This game reeks of DEI and corporate desperation.

And with all the modern single player games That now also need an internet connection. It's going to be very hard to play those games in a few years. The solution is to buy a gaming box that emulate games and has over 20000 games on it for just 200 bucks.

I love resistance I don't even know why capcom didn't just update and the crappy servers of the game and add a offline mode. Reverse was trash I played on it's release and played again , why did they even bother.

I would have told Swery, that he should update his games for free because he has a conscience and takes pride in his work. Or does he? People like ConceredApe still update their games way after they were released free of charge. Stuff like that improves both your reputation as well as keeping the game in people's head, which increases sales. I would have understood if they had to remove features and content to just finish the project on budget. He could also admit that he screwed up or ran out of ideas - something of the like. Could have fixed the bad word of mouth. Transparency goes a long way, but seeing him take the dishonest approach so many times only goes to show he just gave in to arrogance and cynicism.

This may be harsh but I have always had the impression that Okamoto is kind of a phony and his efforts directing this game really drive that point home for me. He doesn't seem to really know what he's doing - probably, he's a fan of Silent Hill who is in over his head after Konami put him in charge of reviving the series. He has some impressive games under his belt from when he was at Nintendo but those games are anything but horror or subtle.

This must be a really nerve wrecking thing to remake. On one hand there are the boomer autistics who want a shot for shot remake. And there are the zoomers who want a resident evil combat game. I wouldn't want to be in the shoes of Bloober team designers. Also KONAMI is totally out of touch. All they had to do was just release the original on Steam and let the modders finish the rest. SH2 extended edition mod is perfectly playable now. Anyway I hope this remake gets successful and it won't take Bloober team down. Although I think the game will open on a MIXED rating in the beginning but hopefully it'll reach it's audience.
